Headlamp condensation

MessageAuthor

Hi, Noticed I've some condenstation in one of the headlamps this morning. I've checked that it's all fitted properly at the back, etc. so I guess I've a slight leak somewhere. Anyone know whether these are covered until warrenty as the car is less than 2 years old before I go to the dealer. If it's not covered I'll cover it with some sealant first. Thanks in advance Noz

If the car is less than 2yrs old I would be hot footing it back to the dealers and demanding it be rectified post haste.

If you pull the unit out you will see a right angled piece of rubber pipe on the inside at the end where the high beam bulb is. This is a vent hole and the units are not sealed. I made the mistake of thinking they were leaking also.
