This was just announced during the 129th AES convention in LA under the "Workstation Technology" category. When I saw REAPER v4.7 listed, I nearly fell out of my chair. Just to be nominated and recognized as a leading DAW in 2014 is a nice feather in the Cockos cap! If anything, there should be a prominent banner on the front facing REAPER website acknowledging the fact. "Nominated for the prestigious TEC Award as best DAW of 2014!" :) Nominees will be recognized and winners announced during Winter NAMM 2015. Maybe a good reason for Justin and the REAPER crew to go to NAMM in January. All of their hard work and dedication has really paid off! Kudos to Cockos! We all know what a great DAW REAPER is, but nice to know that peers in the professional audio industry recognizes it as such, as well! Cheers, Billy Buck

Nice. That's quite a bit of recognition. Cedar DNS 10000 and Protools are recipients of a Tec Award for example when they made dramatic impacts in the industry.
